The possibly interesting day of Alimcallerson

Today was an interesting day. Not really, just trying to get your attention. Okay, it was a little interesting. Interesting to me that is. To you, well that's for you to decide. First of all the picture to the left is  a photo of of mine I have edited in Photobucket. Not sure if this is the coolest picture cloud out there on the market of the inter webs, however, evidently it is the one I use. I know of flicker, yet I have never tried it out. I have a public Domain pictures under the name Alison Breskin. Funnily enough on PD pictures I received a 'cup of coffee' donations from a nice stranger. $2.50. How nice of him. It won't afford Starbucks, but it will sure get me a cup of D&D.

Anyway, enough about the pictures. I wanted to talk about the very awesome smoothie I made for breakfast this morning. It consisted of the following: Strawberry Keifer, Frozen blueberries, 1 fresh squeezed orange, 1/2 teaspoon of cherry bark powder, 2 scoops of super fiber probiotic powder from GNC, 1 tbsp of raw honey, a squirt of agave, 1 banana, and a squirt of aloe vera juice. Sound yummy? Well, it's not so bad. It may sound terrible, but it's actually not that bad. You could add one raw egg for protein. Just make sure you wash the outside of the egg, to wash off any bacteria. I used to add the egg, when I worked out more. (or at all for that matter).

If your a total junk food junkie and are not willing to take the risk of tasting a 'healthy shake' try adding a couple scoops of sherbert. I've done this before and it is fantastic. Of course I was not able to find any sherbert with out high fructose corn syrup in it. But this is the price you pay for yummy goodness. HFCS is difficult for the body to process. But if you cannot bear the taste add a few scoops in. You could add regular ice cream if you like. This will most likely be more fattening. But very tasty I'm sure. Better to get all those wonderful nutrients in all the other ingredients then not at all. Keifer, Pre, probiotics and fiber are all super good for the digestive system. Aloe works miracles. Unless you are lactose intolerant this will unbind any constipated person, just about. Or if you have diarrhea this will be excellent for that too. Yeah, I know, I talk about gross things. I worked at a gastroenterologist for three years, so to me it's normal. That's a doctor that deals with the digestive system. So you can imagine I've heard all sorts of gross things over the years. Which I cannot talk about, since it would be a violation of HIPPA. But I can tell you I know a lot of facts about treating heartburn and colonic issues!

The cherry bark is good as an anti-inflammatory and if you Google that, you'll see it's great for things like gout and the list goes on and on.  The fresh squeezed orange is of course high in vitamin C. And your squeezing it fresh yourself, so your not getting whatever preservatives would be in your regular o.j. Raw honey is an EXCELLENT natural antibiotic. Go bees!  Bananas are high in potassium. This is good for the PH of the body overall. And the smoothie in general will beat the effects of a five hour energy any day. In my honest opinion. So you can go run your marathons or whatever it is you do!
